You will be joining a reputable and firmly established, national rail and civil engineering contractor, which specialise in civil, building, mechanical and electrical renewals and maintenance business recognised on contracts and frameworks across the country, you will become part of a renowned brand name and team giving you the opportunity to grow in conjunction with this ambitious and forward-thinking business.
The role
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing organisation as a Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM). The position is to cover the areafrom London to the Midlands, where you’ll be working within the Framework and Project Delivery Teams, responsible for managing the design delivery process for both the internal design team and external designers, primarily dedicated to schemes within the local framework but also providing support to other projects in the region.
Ideal Candidate
You will be Technically proficient in Network Rail standards and be able to sign off designed by Consultancies and Network Rail as a CEM. You will be experienced in managing the engineering process throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the Project Manager and CRE(s), reporting to the Contracts Manager for the associated project/ programme of works.
Requirements
- Ideally degree educated, with Chartership or working towards
- Tier 1 contractor experience
- Technically proficient in Network Rail standards
Remuneration
Offering a salary of up to £80,000 which will be dependent on experience. The full package will include a company car, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme, health care and life insurance.
