£33,000 – 40,000 per Annum + Package.

The Role and Responsibilities
As 3D CAD Technician you’ll be working to support the design team with 2D / 3D CAD design, supporting the civil and electrical design team. You will be using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D – working with the surveys and engineers to complete designs. You will be responsible for production of planning, construction and as constructed drawings, ensuring drawings meeting the CAD standards and Q&A checks are met.

The Requirements
The ideal CAD Technician will have experience across the civil engineering sector, ideally with the water, utilities, and/or power and energy. You will have experience working in the CAD Technician role and be able to demonstrate the experience you have across these industries. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential and any experience with REVIT would be advantageous.
We do require someone that has worked for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and you must have a Degree, ONC/HNC or equivalent in architectural technology or similar.
