Becca Stanton
Client Relationship Manager
My background in recruitment
I have been in recruitment for just under five years, and before that I spent much of my time in customer-facing sales roles, both overseas and within the UK.
I can help you with
I prefer to take a quality-over-quantity approach in everything I do, focusing on building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates through trust, understanding, and reliability.
My recruitment career began in the rail sector, where I specialised in technical engineering solutions across systems, signalling, IT, and telecoms.
More recently, I have broadened my knowledge across infrastructure as a whole, particularly within the water sector. This has given me insight into which skill sets are easily transferable between sectors and which require upskilling. This understanding helps me adopt the most effective approach when supporting both candidates and clients.
The best part of my job
I have always been highly sociable and naturally enjoy meeting new people. I particularly value speaking with individuals from different areas and backgrounds, and learning from their experiences and perspectives on the sectors I work in.
Having studied History at university, I developed strong skills in problem solving, research and analysis, skills I now apply every day in recruitment.
What I do when I'm not in the office
When I am not working, my miniature sausage dog Slinky takes up much of my time. We especially enjoy hikes in both the Lake District and the Peak District.
I am also currently renovating my home and learning new skills each day, from tiling to wallpapering, as I aim to take on as much of the work as possible myself.
More recently, I have started learning how to ski, so watch this space.
