Train Cleaning Team Leader – Heaton Depot
Location: Heaton, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Contract: Initial 6-month initial contract with Temp-to-Perm potential
Rate: £13.56 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and supervising a team of cleaners on the night shift. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the highest cleanliness standards on the trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers.
- Responsibilities include assigning tasks, conducting audits, and supporting your team in their daily activities. Getting hands-on with tasks such as deep cleaning train interiors, toilet sanitation, and CET tank disposal.
- Ensuring the team meets their targets while maintaining a high standard of service and safety.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience in cleaning (vehicle, industrial, or domestic) is ideal.
- Previous team leader experience is a plus, especially if you’re confident in guiding and motivating others.
- Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are key.
- Comfortable with night shifts (20:00pm-06:00am) on a 4on 5off, followed by 5on 4off shift rotation.
- Ability to work in a safety-critical environment, with a medical, drug, and alcohol test required.
