This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading train operators in the North with a strong track record of investing in their staff. This is an initial 6-month contract with a great opportunity to be taken on permanently as the organisation continues to expand their workforce.
The Role:
We are currently looking for an individual to join the day shift cleaning team as a Train Cleaner based at the Neville Hill Depot. As a Train Cleaner you will be carrying out all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning, which includes duties such as:
- Hoovering/dusting/sweeping
- Mopping
- Sanitizing touch points
- Cleaning/restocking toilets
- Cleaning graffiti
- Changing bins
- Picking up litter
You will be working night shift, starting at 20:00pm and finishing at 06:00am. Your shift pattern will work on a pattern of 4 on 5 off/5 on 4 off.

Pay Rate & Benefits:
The pay rate for the team leader position will be at £12 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.
