The Company
Our client is a World-Famous Rolling Stock OEM with a focus on new and exciting technologies and a great success in winning huge contrcts within the UK and Europe. This client is currently working on a trailblazing new project requiring an expert System Design Engineer. This is your chance to make yourself indispensable to this prestigious organisation and add a high-profile project to your profile.
The Role
As a successful Systems Design Engineer, you will develop a range of sytems ing a range of rolling stock systems including brakes, PIS, interiors, DAS and other critical systems. You where you shall work closely with the internal and external engineering systems to develop, integrate and ensure these systems are up to an excellent standard for the OEM’s client. You will need to use your knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic engineering to complete this role.
The Candidate
You will come from a siginificant rolling stock background and will have experience designing, testing and implementing a variety of systems includning new concept or systems. You are proficient using software packages such Solid Works, Auto Cad and Creo. Your will have in depth knowledge of testing, commissioning, Railway Group Standards, and Technical Specification for Interoperability.
