Monitoring Surveyor
Rate: £20 - £30 per hour plus holiday pay PAYE
Location – Bermondsey
6 month contract with chance for extension for a reliable and experienced Monitoring Surveyor in South East London. Opportunity to work on a flagship civils project for one of the UK’s largest civil engineering contractors.
Role Description: As Surveyor you will be responsible for the below tasks,
• Daily surface settlement for shaft sites and tunnel drive
• Review of monitoring data and upload of data onto monitoring database
• Daily surface settlement for shaft sites and tunnel drive
• Baseline readings for surface arrays pre-TBM arrival
• RAMS submittals & reviews
• Survey instrument site check and adjusts
• Extensometer/inclinometer readings
• Competent in the use of Excel spreadsheets
Required Experience: Experienced, open, honest and proactive Surveyor. A CSCS card will be required to gain access to each site.
