£40,000 to £45,000 plus Company Car or Car Allowance
The Client
This is an opportunity for a Sub Agent to work for a multidisciplinary company within the Construction and Environmental sector. With an annual turnover of over £250m, this company has gone from strength to strength over this last year.
The main bulk of their work is within rail sector where they undertake most of their larger schemes, delivering more than £150m last year on its own. The company has now got a high demand within their environmental sector working on their flood defence risk management schemes, this would include drainage, riverbank constructions and water furniture.
The Role
With a substantial growth within the sector and having new sites across the Yorkshire region, the successful candidate will be working on schemes that are valued up to £5million.
The successful candidate will be assisting with the provision of accurate surveying, control of contract works, setting out and measurements. All site activities must abide by the company and site standards for quality and environmental management and must ensure that all work done is carried out in a safe manner.
Their will be travel involved within the role so you will need to be flexible and be able to lodge when required.
The Package
The company are offering a generous starting salary of £45,000. This will also include a company car or car allowance (circa £4500), along with 25 days holiday, a 5% matched pension, Healthcare cash plan and lodging and travel all reimbursed or booked
All equipment is supplied along with PPE so no need to fund your own. Along with this great package agile working is available 2 days a week
About You
The desired candidate will have worked within any heavy civils sector and have experience working with flood eluviation, structures, Earthworks, Drainage and Coastal defence. Other industry work will be considered such as rail, highway, or water. You must also be willing to get stuck in with the work on top of completing the site paperwork.
The client is looking for someone with a minimum of a HNC in civil engineering or equivalent
