The Opportunity:

Working on projects across the CP6 framework, you can expect to see yourself managing sites on rail projects such as enhancements, geotechnical works and renewals. You will be joining a successful team who have an abundance of work on Network rails LNE region, meaning you can expect to be busy for years to come!

You will be based out of the West Midlands and be part of a large team located as close to the region as possible. When travel is required, all travel and lodging expenses will be funded! You will be the eyes and ears on Site and work in partnership with the Agent who will provide critical information on design, programme scope and WPPs.

Among executing subliminal site safety, you will be accompanying stakeholders and clients on site to ensure their satisfaction with the works as well as overseeing the procurement of subcontract labour.  This role will position you in an ideal place to showcase your abilities as a Site Manager and catapult yourself into promotions!

This role will require somebody flexible as it will see you working mid-weekdays, nights and weekends, and the company will pay a generous overtime rate.

Package:

For this position, the company is offering a basic salary £44,000 - £46,000 per annum, the choice of a company car or car allowance, fantastic overtime rates, 26 days holiday + bank holidays with two optional charity days and the option to buy more holidays, funding and support with professional memberships, 4.5% matched pension rising to 7%, Life assurance and an Agile working policy.

About you:

It is essential that you’re an established Site manager who has a significant portfolio of multi-disciplined projects in the rail industry, as well as having had exposure to Network Rail contracts in a Tier 1 or 2 environment, ideally on structures and bridges. 

It’s essential that you are flexible to workdays, nights and weekends as well as able to travel to sites throughout Yorkshire.

Knowledge of and ability to produce on-site paperwork  such as WPP’s, Method statements, Task briefs etc will be a massive advantage in this role!
