Site Engineer – Huddersfield
THE COMPANY
This multimillion-pound company are specialists in Energy, Highways, Nuclear and Rail works across the UK. With a strong order book in place, they are now looking to recruit a Site Engineer for a large civil engineering scheme.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the setting out and dimensional control of works, take-offs, monitoring of works and maintaining a daily record of progress, activities, changes, and events. In addition to those duties, you will be expected to identify and report any changes encountered, prepare material reconciliations, maintain drawings/documents to ensure that works are carried out to the latest revisions, prepare, and maintain quality records required by ITPs and produce as-built drawings and records.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be selected for this exciting position you will ideally have an HNC, HND or a Degree in Civil Engineering and a proven background as a Site Engineer on large heavy civil engineering projects. You must also hold a valid CSCS Card and be available to start on a week’s notice.
THE RATE
The rate for this position is £330 per shift (Umbrella/PAYE) and the contract is for 6 months.
