THE PROJECT
Our client is a Tier 1 contractor working on new build roads, structures, and roundabouts. This end client on this project is Highways England. The main reason for the works is to increase the infrastructure of the East Anglia area, from Peterborough to Cambridge and then across to Norwich. This scheme is the one to be on for any Civil Engineers; it will allow you to gain valuable tier 1 experience on one of the largest schemes in the past ten years.
THE ROLE
Ganymede are working closely with one of the main contractors in the UK on a collection of large Highways project in East Anglia. You will be working on site, reporting to the Senior Engineer and Site Agents. Day to day you will be setting out, reviewing designs, and working independently or as part of a team to ensure that the projects are completed on time and to the highest of standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this fantastic Site Engineer opportunity, you will need experience within heavy civils – Preferably highways. As well as this, it is desirable that you have a Civil Engineering degree. A valid CSCS is required to be considered for this role. You will have experience with earthworks, drainage, surfacing and vehicle restraint systems and be able to successfully communicate within site meetings, toolbox talks and health and safety briefings.
