The Company

My client has been delivering schemes that strive to provide positive, lasting change for the past several decades now and are looking for a Site Engineer to join their ranks on a highways project in Peterborough.
With them holding multiple awards for investment in staff and culture you can rest assure that your progression as a Site Engineer is key to them and will fund and mentor you with any professional membership you desire.
The Role
I am looking for applications from Site Engineers that meet the following requirements:
- Can provide Setting Out and Engineering control on site and provide information to operatives and subcontractors
- Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment
- Complete all relevant and required site paperwork, such as daily diary’s along with any photographic evidence, as required
- Ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated
- Carry out as-built surveys on complete works and drawings
- Can produce 2D & 3D site sketches
- Assist in maintaining quality records, ensuring all works undertaken in accordance with ITPs and maintaining the as-built records
- Lend a hand to assist with basic planning, monitoring & programming
- Be a role model to junior and graduate engineers and help mentor them as of and when required
The Ideal Candidate
Providing you can tick all the above, hold a HND / HNC in Civil Engineering / CSCS card, have experience in any of the following: Highways, Rail, Coastal defence, Structures, Earthworks and finally, ideally have a background with Tier 1 contracting then this role may be for you!
Oh, I did forget to add, I need my candidate to be ambitious, innovative, forward thinking, and personable!
Remuneration
Salary of up to £35,000 dependant on experience
Company Car or Car allowance of £4540
Funding and Mentorship of any Professional Memberships
2 Optional Days leave for Charity work
