The Company
As Site Engineer you will be joining a reputable and firmly established, national Rail and Civil Engineering tier 1 contractor. Specialising in civil, building, mechanical and electrical renewals, and maintenance, on contracts and frameworks across the country.
You will become part of a renowned brand name and team, giving you the opportunity to grow in conjunction with this ambitious and forward-thinking organisation. Due to an increase in Environmental Agency flood defence schemes my client is looking for an experience Site Engineer to work on several frameworks which will involve flood defence risk management, riverbank constructions, drainage and water furniture.
The Role
The Site Engineer will assist with surveying, setting out, measurement and control of contract works. Ensuring that all site activities are carried out in a safe manner and ensuring that all site activities comply with the Company and Site standards for Quality and Environmental Management.
- Duties will include:
- Setting Out
- Quality checks
- ITP's
- Interpreting designs into practice on site
- Dealing with the site teams and any subcontractors
The Ideal Candidate
Must have experience within heavy Civils – Earthworks, Drainage, Flood Defence, Coastal Defence
HND within Civil Engineering or Equivalent
Must be wiling to travel when requires across South Midlands and Home Counties
Remuneration
Salary Up To £36,000 dependant on experience
