This role will enable you to be part of a prestigious Rail team working on projects with values in the Millions for a huge contractor! If you’ve been looking for a position where you can really put your experience to the test and exhibit maximum autonomy and decision making, then this is for you.

The Opportunity:

Based in a rail division with a turnover in excess of £150 million, you will take lead managing rail projects within the Eastern region of the UK. The first project being a Rail roof refurbishment project, before moving on to other schemes on the LNE route predominantly in the North Midlands and Yorkshire.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the development and update of all site documentation, such as WPP’s, Task Briefings, Quality Plans, Test & Inspection Plans. As well as ensuring all staff including sub-contractors follow site procedures and complete works to their contractual requirements.

Established as a key supplier to Network Rail amongst others, you will be joining an award-winning provider of engineering services into the rail, highways, waterways, and utilities sectors. Recognised as being helpful, professional, and innovative contractors, as part of this team you will be expected to lead continuous improvement initiatives that will increase engagement and profile with key customers that optimise works delivery.

Remuneration and benefits

An impressive package is available consisting of a basic salary of up to £55,000, plus company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life insurance, support and funding of chartership.
