This is an opportunity for a Sub Agent or Site Agent within the rail industry to be part of a thriving £150m turn over company with a long-term framework.

With numerous amounts of nationwide contracts on both maintenance and renewal schemes, you will be working for a company who are a key suppliers to Network Rail as an award winning service provider.

The Role

Reporting to the Framework manager, you will be managing numerous sites on the Asset Management Framework.

The works involved is very open and will include, but not limited to, Structural repairs, Canopy Repairs, De-vegetation, Signal box repairs, grit blasting and painting, station work and emergency call out work

The successful candidate will be managing a small team of supervisors along with site managers, who will directly look after labour on site. You will need to drive the safety culture into your team and liase with functions such as HSQE, Planning, Engineering and Commercial.

You will also be responsible for low value works but at a high volume, as well as taking accountability for site paperwork.

The Package

The company are offering a generous starting salary of £50,000 - £53,000pm based on your current experience. This will also include a company car or car allowance (circa £6000), along with 25 days holiday as well as 8 bank holidays, 39 hours per week and a 5% matched pension

All equipment is supplied along with PPE so no need to fund your own. The position will have long term work and will have a clear progression plan towards your next desired goal.

About you

 The desired candidate will need to have experience working on small rail projects (HS2, Crossrail’s would be too large), you must also be able to work well under pressure as this will be a fast paced environment.

You must have experience working with a Tier 1 or 2 Contract and have the required form of technical qualification: HNC/HND or above
