You will be joining a reputable and firmly established, national rail and civil engineering contractor, which specialise in civil, building, mechanical and electrical renewals and maintenance business recognised on contracts and frameworks across the country, you will become part of a renowned brand name and team giving you the opportunity to grow in conjunction with this ambitious and forward-thinking business.

The role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join as a Site Agent, to over see and technically manage a host of rail engineering. You can expect to manage a busy work stream on stations, bridges, embankments, line side civils, piling, waterproofing, grit blasting and paint jobs De-Vegetation, Embankment Repairs, Flood Alleviation, Bridge and Structural repairs, Bridge deck replacements, P-Way elements within a major Network Rail framework contract. With current projects encompassing the above, you won’t be stuck for work!

As Site Agent your day to day responsibilities can see you manage health and safety, quality, production of all relevant paperwork, work package plans, construction phase plans, complete cost plans, footpath and closure arrangements. You will be working closely with site staff and General Foreman to ensure they are on task and completing work to the quality and standards set.

Ideal Candidate

You must have a minimum of 3 years solid rail experience and come from a Sub Agent level from a Site Engineering background. Relevant tickets and qualification will be needed to accompany the experience giving the need for technical understanding needed to be successful in this role.

You should be educated to minimum of HNC level within Civil Engineering with complimenting experience within the rail industry.

Remuneration

Offering a salary of up to £55,000 which will be dependent on experience. The full package will include a car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, contributory pension scheme, health care and life insurance.
