THE ROLE
Ganymede are working closely with one of the leading Civil Engineering Contractors in the UK on HS2. Your working week would be office based including visits to site, as required.
- Preparing commercial cost and value reporting with detailed end forecasts produced with the Project Manager and/or Site Agent
- Preparation and timely submission of Applications for Payment
- Procurement of subcontractors
- Management of subcontract agreements
- Develop and maintain the project risk and opportunity register
- Oversee contract administration, including change management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this fantastic Quantity Surveying opportunity, you will need experience working in a similar role. You MUST have a strong CIVIL ENGINEERING/RAIL background and have experience using NEC forms of contract. Ideally, you will be Degree Qualified and MRICS is also desirable. You will also come from a main contracting background, ideally. Having a good understanding of full project lifecycles is also required as you will be working pre and post contract.
