THE ROLE
Ganymede are working closely with one of the leading Civil Engineering Contractors in the UK on a large Rail project based in North Yorkshire. Your working week would be split between office & site, with potential for a day at home. Reporting to the Commercial Manager. Day to day you will be:
- Preparing commercial cost and value reporting with detailed end forecasts produced with the Project Manager and/or Site Agent
- Preparation and timely submission of Applications for Payment
- Procurement of subcontractors
- Management of subcontract agreements
- Develop and maintain the project risk and opportunity register
- Oversee contract administration, including change management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this fantastic Quantity Surveying opportunity, you will need experience working in a similar role. You MUST have a strong RAIL background and have experience using NEC forms of contract. Ideally, you will be Degree Qualified and MRICS is also desirable. You will also come from a main contracting background, ideally. Having a good understanding of full project lifecycles is also required as you will be working pre and post contract.
