Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Company

The business is currently expanding and growing at a fast pace and deliver to the civil, building, mechanical and electrical renewals and maintenance markets that are underpinned by a suite of framework contracts.

Our client has a clear corporate focus on the renewal and maintenance of key assets across rail, energy, environmental and infrastructure, including bridge replacement schemes, embankment stabilisations, earthworks, bridge repair, vegetation, and tunnels, both as large schemes and in a small works capacity.

The Role

The role will predominantly be working on Civils and Mechanical & Electrical projects under Framework agreements but will vary from site to site.

Daily duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Sub-contractor Management
• Applications for Payment
• Contributing to CVR discussions
• Final accounts

About you

This role would be great for a well-established Quantity Surveyor looking to take their next step into a Senior Quantity Surveyor role. Experience of running a number of projects in the £150K to £4M range is essential, as is the ability to take a project from pre-start to Final Account.

Our client will consider applicants from an Infrastructure, Rail or general Construction background as the ability to demonstrate the skills to manage the commercial process is far more essential. Experience of NEC forms of contract are highly desirable but not essential.
