“An incredible opportunity to get stuck in with a market-leading rail contractor on a £175million rail framework”

Company: Working within the rail arm of an international civil engineering giant that turns over more than £5billion annually.

Role Description: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting into the Senior Commercial Manager and Programme Manager on a £175million Network Rail signalling and telecoms framework where you will be overseeing 2-3 schemes at a time, depending on value. Set on NR12 forms of contract, this scheme will be based on a target cost contract and as such you will need experience of that.

What’s in it for you? Not only is this an opportunity to work with an industry-leading rail contractor, but there is also plenty of opportunity to progress through the ranks and even achieve your chartership or any other professional qualifications. On top of this, you will have the opportunity to work from home for at least 2 days per week meaning you will be able to maintain a great work-life balance. Most importantly, you’ll be working in a fantastic framework team with a tremendous family culture where you will be welcomed in from day 1!

Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £60,000 (depending on experience), company car or car allowance, 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, 40 hour working week, remote working, 5% pension contribution + additional benefits alongside an opportunity to work within an established rail business with ample opportunity to progress through the ranks.

Required Experience: To be considered for this position you will need to have operated at Senior Quantity Surveyor level or be ready to step up to the mark. Ideally you will have experience operating in the rail sector with main contractors, however someone with civil engineering (NEC) experience would succeed in this role. Aside from that, you will need to be an approachable, hard-working, and versatile individual who is motivated to succeed with one of the UK’s top rail contractors!
