£38,000 - £42,000 + Company car or Car allowance
This is an opportunity for a Sub agent to join a principal contractor working on environmental projects in a thriving region which contributes to the company’s massive turnover exceeding £300million per year.
Established as a key supplier to some of infrastructures biggest clients, you will be joining an award-winning provider of engineering services into the rail, highways, waterways, and utilities sectors. Recognised as being helpful, professional, and innovative contractors, as part of this team you will be expected to lead continuous improvement initiatives that will increase engagement and profile with key customers that optimise works delivery.

This role will see you working on Flood defence schemes throughout the Oxfordshire region, working at a fast pace. You will be responsible for the setting out and surveying works on site as well as supervising works site including labour, plant and subcontractors. Projects will involve works such as earthworks, drainage, flood defence and coastal defence. You will also be involved in assisting the production of Risk assessments, Work Package Plans, Inspection Test Plans, and other site documentation.
The company are offering a generous package of £38,000 - £42,000 basic per annum, company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 5% matched pension, Health insurance and Life assurance, travel and lodging expensed when needing to stay away.
With the position offering such a breadth of long-term work, somebody keen to progress within the company would be an ideal fit and you would be provided with a clear succession plan to your desired goals.
For this position it is essential that you’re experienced in a main contractor environment on Enviornmental agency projects such as flood alleviation, drainage etc. This position is ideal for an established Senior engineer, or it can be a great opportunity for an Engineer who is looking to take the next step up. This is a fast-paced position working on low value projects at a high turnover, this means you will naturally be comfortable in a busy environment. You will have experience of reviewing Due to projects being throughout the Oxfordshire region, you will be expected to travel site to site where necessary.
