The Company
Established as a leader within the Rolling Stock environment, you will be joining an organisation that prides themselves on investing in innovative and sustainable rolling stock to modernise and improve UK rail, meeting the evolving needs of today’s passengers. Having the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, you’ll work as part of a team to lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability of the trains
The Opportunity:
This role can be based in London, as well as working from home once you are comfortable of the duties within the role. You will be responsibility for managing a team of Rolling Stock Fleet and Systems Engineers, in providing management of asset performance. Working with customers currently using the DMU fleets, to provide system upgrades and engineering changes for the comfort of passengers.
You will develop and maintain good relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in order to implement appropriate strategies which are in line with the Fleet Management Plan and the Asset Management Policy. You’ll have the ability to bring creative and innovative approaches to solve potentially complex, fleet-wide or cross-fleet technical issues
Package:
The company are offering a generous package of up to c£60,000 per annum, 10% benefit allowance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and 15% pension and bonus scheme.
About you:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Rolling Stock professional, with knowledge of Train reliability, performance, system upgrades and engineering changes, with a strong background in the sector of managing Fleet Engineers, and able to mentor them further.
