The Opportunity:

Commencing work on a prestigious project in the North East, you will be managing a multi-disciplined Railway package which incorporates P-way, OLE, Signalling, Civils and E&P works. This position will not only see you managing site teams and taking care of Site paperwork, but you will will also have input in tenders, project delivery and post construction duties. You will play a key part in maintaining client relationships and building, developing and supporting your team, ensuring their capabilities are maximised.

You will play a part in building the long-term presence in the North East region by helping develop the Tender programme into a construction programme by showing design, procurement and construction phases with a clearly defined critical path and key milestone dates in line with the company’s standards.

Package:

The company are offering an exceptional basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000, choice of company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 5% pension, health insurance, life assurance and lodging and travel paid if required to work away.

About you:

It is a given, that you’ll have a significant track record working on rail projects for clients such as Network rail, ideally with a bias towards P-way or OLE. You will have experience of railway systems and civil engineering, with a good knowledge of all rail disciplines.

Due to the high-profile nature of the project, you must be an established Site Agent, Project manager or Package manager who can really hit the ground running in this role. It is essential that you come from a principal contractor background and have a technical qualification in the relevant field as well as holding a valid PTS, CSCS and SMSTS.
