QUANTITY SURVEYOR – INFRASTUCTURE

THE ROLE
Ganymede are working closely with a large subcontractor in the UK on a large Highways Framework based across South West England. Your working week would be split between site (which can vary in location) with potential for a day or 2 at home. Reporting to the Commercial Manager. Day to day you will be:
- Preparing commercial cost and value reporting with detailed end forecasts produced with the Project Manager and/or Site Agent
- Preparation and timely submission of Applications for Payment
- Procurement of subcontractors
- Management of subcontract agreements
- Develop and maintain the project risk and opportunity register
- Oversee contract administration, including change management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this fantastic Quantity Surveying opportunity, you will need experience working in a similar role. Sub Contractor background is desirable, but not essential. Ideally, you will be Degree Qualified and MRICS is also desirable. You will have experience within the Highways Sector and have a strong working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Having a good understanding of full project lifecycles is also required as you will be working pre and post contract dependant on the project.
