QUANTITY SURVEYOR – INFRASTUCTURE

£300 - £400 per day

Office, Site & home based (York/Leeds)

THE ROLE
Ganymede are working closely with one of the main contractors in the UK on a large Civil Engineering scheme based in Leeds. Your working week would be split between site (Leeds) & office (York), with potential for a day or 2 at home. Reporting to the Commercial Manager. Day to day you will be:
- Preparing commercial cost and value reporting with detailed end forecasts produced with the Project Manager and/or Site Agent
- Preparation and timely submission of Applications for Payment
- Procurement of subcontractors
- Management of subcontract agreements
- Develop and maintain the project risk and opportunity register
- Oversee contract administration, including change management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this fantastic Quantity Surveying opportunity, you will need experience working in a similar role. Main/Sub Contractor background is desirable, but not essential. Ideally, you will be Degree Qualified and MRICS is also desirable. You will have experience on medium – large infrastructure projects (Rail or Civil Engineering) and have a strong working knowledge of NEC & NR forms of contract. Having a good understanding of full project lifecycles is also required as you will be working pre and post contract dependant on the project.
