New Requirement! We have an exciting new opening for a skilled & experienced PTS / Sentinel Card holder to join a leading train operating company as a Train Presentation Team Leader to lead the cleaning operatives and ensure the trains are ready for passenger service.

The new opening which has become available for a PTS Train Presentation Team Leader offers you the opportunity to work at 2x local depots in the Cambridge region where you shall be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operative teams in their duties, inspecting, auditing, and signing off work with the Duty Team Leader to confirm the train is ready to return to service. As a hands-on PTS Train Presentation Team Leader, you shall also be required to perform cleaning duties when additional trains are brought in for servicing.

As the PTS Train Presentation Team Leader, you shall oversee & lead the cleaners in their cleaning tasks which includes interior train cleaning, such as deep cleans and full cleans (touch point cleaning, sanitising, hoovering, mopping, removing of rubbish & waste etc…) to ensure the trains are meeting the cleanliness standards and are presentable for passenger service.
This opportunity leads to a permanent position, with opportunities to progress as a Duty Leader and more within the train presentation area of the business. However, with the organisation experiencing huge growth plans, there are also opportunities to progress within engineering, customer service and other key areas of the business.
A highly desired & skilled role requires Train Presentation Team Leader to hold a valid & in date PTS / Sentinel Card for this position, along with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, reliability, and flexibility to work nights during the week and weekends as part of a 7-night roster schedule. Working hours range from start times of 19:30pm and 22:30pm for 7-hour shifts. A cleaning background is desired, however alternative backgrounds in track maintenance or engineering of a similar nature as a Team Leader will be of high interest.
Rates of Pay, Working Hours and Benefits:
- Standard Hours - £11.78 p/h with overtime, rest days and bank holiday rates up to £23.56 p/h.
