The Opportunity:

Working on projects across the CP6 framework, you can expect to see yourself managing a portfolio of work across a variety of multi-disciplined rail projects from the development phase right through to completion. These projects will be valued up to around £3.5million and will consist of platform extensions, station refurbishments, signal box refurbishments, Access for All schemes and works alike.

As Project manager, you will take full responsibility in the seamless development and delivery of projects by working in co-ordination with the Pre-Construction, Engineering and Planning teams. You will also visit sites 2-3 times per week to ensure accordance with design, and correct paperwork is in place. This position will give you the opportunity to showcase your skills in managing smaller projects concurrently as well as a singular larger project, and your inevitable success will ensure you’ll be on track to climbing this companies ladder in a rewarding and swift way.

Package:

For this position, the company is offering a basic salary £55,000 to £60,000 per annum, the choice of a company car or car allowance (circa £6,000), 26 days holiday + bank holidays with two optional charity days and the option to buy more holidays, funding and support with professional memberships, 4.5% matched pension rising to 7.5%, Life assurance and an Agile working policy.

About you:

It is essential that you’re an established Project manager who has a significant portfolio of multi-disciplined projects in the rail industry, as well as having had exposure to Network Rail contracts in a Tier 1 or 2 environment, ideally on structures and bridges.
