Job role
We are seeking an experienced, but above all passionate individual in a customer-facing environment you will be responsible for keeping and maintaining student residence (communal space and studios) to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for the compliance of the residence to all health and safety and other legislative requirements. This is a very hands-on role where we are seeking an individual with technical knowledge and practical experience to ensure that we complete as much maintenance work as possible internally, providing a friendly, quick and efficient service to our residents.
Responsibilities
- DIY (Plumbing, Painting, Decorating, Joinery) for all communal spaces and studios as required.
- Grounds upkeep where applicable
- Ongoing and prompt management of building facilities, either by carrying out the works yourself or by the procurement of external contractors (as advised by the service desk where applicable)
- Maintaining the residence to brand standards, involving painting, floor laying, joinery works and replacements
- Ensuring compliance when responding to identified maintenance faults
- Ensure compliance of the building with all health and safety requirements
- Manage and record the routine testing, maintenance and risk assessment of all aspects of the residence
- Management and completion of the annual site calendar Management and close out of all tickets raised on salesforce Managing all supplies and works within budget
- Provide excellent customer service as a member of the residence management team. Manage PTW and contractor and visitors to site
- Support site team with routine compliance checks BOH folders. Maintain BOH maintenance stores.
Package
- £28K Basic Salary
- 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm
- All equipment provided
