Company: This company is a forward thinking, leading edge supplier of civil engineering and rail services in the UK. This giant of the industry has an impressive portfolio of Rail, Road, Nuclear, and other major projects worldwide. They are a Principal Contractor and one of Network Rail’s top 20 suppliers enabling them to work on the most prestigious projects across the UK. A large but welcoming company looking to bring their team together and grow capability. This is your opportunity to be the lucky Quantity Surveyor.

Role Description: The company are looking to bring in a dynamic and hardworking Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to work on a range of multidisciplinary rail schemes including geotechnical, groundworks, building and drainage projects. Based out of either their framework offices in Sevenoaks or Client offices in Central London, you will be supporting the commercial lead with variations, applications for payments, subcontract management, client liaison and other commercial responsibilities. It’s worth noting that this particular company has a brilliant remote working policy that allows you to work from home for up to 3 days per week.

Required Experience: To be considered for this role you will need to have experience operating at Assistant Quantity Surveyor level with main contractors, ideally on rail projects but civil engineering and/or NEC experience would suffice.

Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £43,000 (depending on experience), car allowance, 26 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, 42.5 hour working week, pension contribution + additional benefits alongside an opportunity to work within an established rail business with ample opportunity to progress through the ranks.
