This Lead Investigator role will enable you to investigate incidents from a HSQE prospective on Rail projects for a huge contractor! The Opportunity

Based within the Rail Infrastructure division, you’ll be supporting the HSQE Manager in carrying out accident and incident investigations on their high-profile projects. Establishing root cause and providing preventative measures.

Established as a key supplier to Network Rail amongst others, you will be joining an award-winning provider of engineering services into the rail sector. Recognised as being helpful, professional, and innovative contractors, as part of this team you will be expected to lead continuous improvement initiatives that will increase the well-being of colleagues on projects.

Remuneration and benefits

An impressive package is available consisting of a basic salary of up to £50,000, plus company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life insurance, support and funding of chartership.

About You

You’ll be an experienced HSQE professional working within the rail sector, with knowledge of level 2 investigations and the ability to determine root cause, and provide solutions. You’ll also and have the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel. Ideally, you’ll have a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, NVQ Level 4 / 5 Occupational Health & Safety, Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, NVQ Level 3 Occupational Health & Safety and this organisation will help propel your career forward and support you with future qualifications you may wish to undertake.
