I am working with a Tier One contractor who has an exciting opportunity for a HSSE Advisor to join their ever-growing organisation on a £multimillion Highways framework. Due to expansion and securing multiple contracts it is an extremely exciting time to be joining. This would be a prime role for somebody looking to further their career as the company offer a wealth of support and opportunities to climb up the ladder in as little as 12 months
Job Description:
As HSSE Advisor you will be reporting into Senior management of the framework whilst undertaking a very ‘hands on roll’ being present on and off site. Your day to day duties can see you:
- Carrying out inspections, inductions and safety reports
- Checking of SSOW Plans
- Providing Workshops and training
- Review of RAMS, CPP’s with clients
- Traffic Management
Ideal Candidate:
As HSSE you will have a strong knowledge of behavioural safety and exhibit confidence to challenge and coach.
This role will suit someone who is seeking a role which offers longevity of contracts with the opportunity of career progression. My client offers financial and mentorship support toward charterships, MHFA and IEMA.
Essential:
- NEBOSH Diploma OR NVQ Level 5 equivalent Safety qualification
- You will need to have come from a Tier 1 contractor as a HSSE Advisor or Manager
- You will have a background of Civil Engineering or Highways England Major Schemes
Beneficial:
- IEMA or Environmental Certificate
- A background working on local authorities HM contracts
Remuneration:
£45,000 per annum
