A main contractor who’s renowned for significant investment into their employees, are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their business and support rail projects throughout the Yorkshire area. The Opportunity:

Being from a civil engineering / construction background, you'll be passionate concerning all aspects of HSQE. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the Rail sector, on a 2 years fixed term contract. You’ll be help drive the positive safety culture across a range of projects, building strong relationship across delivery teams and work in partnership across the wider H&S team.

Ensuring project teams are provided with the support to uphold the highest of SHEQ standards and to be innovative to push continuous improvements. You’ll be responsible for carrying out investigations of incidents on projects, writing reports and maintaining accreditations.

Package:

For this position, the company is offering a basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, the choice of a company car or car allowance, 26 days holiday + bank holidays with two optional charity days and the option to buy more holidays, 4.5% matched pension rising to 7.5%, Health insurance, Life assurance and Agile working from home - 2 days a week.

About you:

It is essential that you’re an established SHEQ Advisor, preferably with experience within the Rail sector. Be able to demonstrate your ability to drive a positive safety culture across project teams.
