The Candidate:
You will be an experienced gate specialist / gate engineer that has worked on a wide range of gates in many capacities in your career while also having experience in minor works. You will live an easily commutable distance to London and will be hungry to develop your customer facing and technical skills.
The Role:
Your role as a gate specialist / gate engineer will see you covering a variety of areas of London including the famous Canary Wharf Estate and a number of London Underground stations and depots. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs and new installations. You will be given all of the tools that you need to be successful in this role including hand tools, power tools, van, PPE and training.
The Requirements:
To be considered for the gate specialist / gate engineer role you will need to hold a full & valid driving license, have experience as a gate specialist / gate engineer that has worked on roller shutters and boswick gates and be able to demonstrate your knowledge of gate repairs and installations.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (varying shift patterns) with one Saturday every 6 weeks.
Salary: Circa 34k per annum basic salary with 21 days annual leave.
