Job Title: Gate Engineer (Field Based Role)

With over 20 years’ experience in security services, this company provides clients services including fire and burglar alarms, security gates and access control. This company operates services 24 hours a day with major key clients in across London and the South East. The company is currently expanding and looking to add a new Gate Engineer to the team.
The role of Gate Engineer will require you to respond to emergency callouts as well as scheduled works across London. The Gate Engineer will be required to install, maintain, and repair electric gates with a keen eye on Health & Safety. The successful Gate Engineer can expect to work a typical week of 40 hours from Monday to Friday. There is also a requirement for the successful Gate Engineer, to work one Saturday every six weeks for which you will be paid an extra day’s pay.
The Ideal Candidate
As an experienced Gate Engineer, you will be confident with all aspects of installing, servicing and repairing electric gates / shutters. You will be competent working to tight deadlines and responding to emergency callouts. As a Gate Engineer, you will have significant experience working on roller shutters, sliding / collapsible gates, and other types of automatic and electric gates. As a Gate Engineer, you will be flexible to work various shifts. Gate Engineer with a City & Guilds qualification in 17th or 18th Edition will be highly desired.
