New Requirement! We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Facilities Technician to join a leading railway / Rolling Stock company in the London region!
The Candidate:
Are you an experienced Facilities Technician with an electrical bias skill set and additional experience on a mechanical basis where you have worked at large locations such as hospitals, factories, warehouse, hotels etc…performing a rage of maintenance tasks so ensure the ensure the locations key facilities are working accordingly?
We have an excellent new opportunity for a Facilities Technician to join a leading railway / rolling stock organisation who specialises in signalling, services & maintenance, digital technology and turnkey and has a strong presence across 38 countries.
The Role:
In this new & exclusive role, you shall be responsible for routine preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, first line inspections, fault finding, repairs and some call outs at a local train maintenance centre to maintain portable infrastructure such as civil & buildings, fixed & mobile plant, ICT and security systems, mechanical & electrical systems, specialist equipment, permanent way systems, soft services, and general maintenance tasks.
Your role will also see you support the facilities planner with planning activities, ensure infrastructure and plant receives regular inspections.
Requirements:
Flexibility is essential to work both days and late shifts across weekdays and weekends, with the ability to travel to different sites across the UK / stay over night to provide support and knowledge on specialist equipment.
Holding an NVQ level 3 engineering qualification (electrical) with the right experience is a must!
