Our client, are a successful Civil Engineering company who hold an enviable industry position and a long history in the successful delivery of projects within Rail, Highways, Airports & Water. As a family owned business they hold this value throughout the organisation with over 3000 employees a collaborative approach is very present within their projects. With a very health order book our client are being appointed further project and frameworks showing no signs of slowing with this is in mind they are looking to grow their estimating department.
About the Role
The successful Estimator will join an excellent team who is lead by a manager committed to developing the team offering genuine and really opportunity for progression. The focus will be within Highways works so will see you involved in
- Highways Maintenance
- Temporary Works
- Road widening
- Bridges
- Surfacing
Day to day duties include
- Pricing works from a schedule of rates
- Working within the NEC & bespoke contracts
- Client interface
- Close collaboration with the Commercial, Planning & Design teams
- Dependent upon COVID restrictions and our clients decision on long terms working environment this position will be based in the office however could offer remote working
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 6-10 years experience in the position of Estimator
- Highways experience is essential
- Competency of using Estimating software
- Main or subcontractor experience
Renumeration
- £45,000 - £63,000 per annum which is based up the experience you hold
- Single care Bupa
- Company Car
