An exceptional opportunity for a well-established CEM has come up in York working on Eastern rail frameworks.

Job Duties:
As CEM, you will form a critical role in managing engineering activities on the company’s Eastern portfolio. You will manage relationships with the business’ big name Framework Consultants and niche Temporary Works Consultants.
You will be responsible for the checking of Designs in accordance with Network Rail standards and ensure the correct Work Package Plans and Construction phase plans are in place.
You will assess buildability of the designs, manage change, and liaise with the client and Consultancy to ensure that designs allow the works to be carried out to scope on site.
As CEM, you will be the principal point of contact on the project for the client and Consultant and be the ultimate signatory on designs.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Rail experience on multi-disciplinary projects is essential
- Proven track record working as a CEM in a principal contractor background
- Proven track record working on projects involving; bridges, platforms, stations, enhancements, renewals, AFA schemes, and structures.
Package:
£60,000 £65,000 basic salary per annum (dependant on experience)

42.5hrs (8am – 5pm)
