The Candidate:
You will be an experienced electrician that has worked on local authority / social housing jobs that has an NVQ level 3 and / or 18th Edition. You will enjoy rewiring as well as fault-finding and repair and thrive on leaving every customer satisfied. You will enjoy a varied role covering everything from door entry to alarms and be willing to work on-call for one week out of six.
The Role:
As an electrician you will be responsible for carrying out the jobs that are allocated to you quickly and efficiently. Unlike many of our clients in this field, this business give you the luxury of working in a small geographical area so you won’t find yourself heading to a job miles from home at 16:00. The jobs will all be in North or East London and will be a mix of routine maintenance, installations and re-wires of emergency lighting, fire alarms, security systems, door entry and other common residential electrical systems.
The Requirements:
To be considered for this role as an electrician you will need an NVQ level 3 or 18th Edition. Experience of working on social housing is preferred but not essential.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (08:00 – 17:00). You will be expected to work on-call for one week in every 6.
Salary: Circa 33k per annum basic salary with 24 days annual leave PLUS Bank Holidays.
