The Company
This organisation has been operating for over a century and are a Tier 1 contractor to the Rail Sector, providing their expertise within the buildings and maintenance of stations across the UK.
The Role
You will be carrying out Electrical Maintenance and rewiring around Network Rail stations in London, predominantly: Paddington, Kings Cross and St Pancras. Works will vary hugely but working in a team of 3 (with a plumber and labourer) you will be carrying out duties such as:
Fixing lights, sockets, installing new sockets, minor rewiring and trunking when required.
This position will be Monday to Friday, and you will be on call 50% of weekends, where you’ll be paid £22.50 per hour on Saturday and £26.25 per hour on Sunday, plus an extra £100 for every weekend you are on call even if you don’t get called out!
The Requirements
To be considered for this post you will need to have the following.
- Apprenticeship within Electrical Engineering
- 17th / 18th edition
- Experience in installation and minor maintenance of commercial buildings.
- You MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A Drug & Alcohol test and Medical
Benefits
Hourly rate for the role is £15.00, Monday to Friday, and you will be on call 50% of weekends, where you’ll be paid £22.50 per hour on Saturday and £26.25 per hour on Sunday, as well as £100 for every weekend you are on call. Company VAN and Fuel card. Company pension, 25 days holiday + BH.
