GANYMEDE ARE RECRUITING FOR DUEL FUEL ENGINEERS IN LONDON & SURROUNDING AREAS.
The Company
We are working in partnership with a global energy supplier to provide a nationwide smart meter installation workforce.
Our Client is one of the largest energy suppliers in the UK and have over 7 million customers.
Smart Meter Operatives will play a key role in the installation of smart meters in all customers’ homes.
The Role
You will be working for Ganymede Energy you will be installing gas and electric smart meters, in line with industry standards and the SMICOP requirements.
You will be working within your local area, although from time to time flexibility will be required to meet the business needs if deemed safe and practicable.
Part of the role will involve explaining the benefits and energy efficiency savings of the smart meters to customers.
Work will be pre-planned and electronically scheduled using a touch pad system.
All Meter Operatives will be provided with a fully stocked van and have a local depot.
The Engineer
Minimum Qualifications: CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 or Level 2 Smart Meter Diploma
You must have a minimum of 6 months experience installing gas and electric meters.
You must be safety conscious with focus on providing excellent customer service.
You must hold a full valid driving licence with maximum of 6 penalty points.
You must have previous MOCOPA authorisation.
The Package
Basic Salary £33,000 & £2,784 L/W + bonus and overtime available
23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays.
Average 42.5 hour working week.
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
No Call Out/Standby.
Van, Fuel Card, PPE, Tools, Equipment and Hand-Held Unit all
Bonus Earnings up to £2,000 p/a which consists of loyalty bonus and quality.
You will be provided with industry leading smart metering technology and equipment.
