Design Manager: Rail
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for: -
- Design management
- Management of design houses
- Review of designs to establish suitability and build ability
- Liaison with the client
- Interface management
- Commercial management/control of design works
- Management of progress and programme
Types of projects could include:
- Depots
- Structures
- Station Regeneration
- Access for All
- Rail Platforms
Required Experience + Competencies:
- Chartered Civil Engineer (ideally)
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Design Management experience on Rail Civil Engineering projects in the UK.
- Main Contractor background
- Experience of managing or working with design consultancies
