The Company

This company has recently invested in a full fleet of modern trains with increased seats to provide more pleasant and comfortable journeys for commuters to ensure significantly improved customer experience.


The Role

As a Depot Protection Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring safety around train movements. You will have significant experience working in a depot and your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety of the site. You will be required to coordinate train movement around the depot as well providing support to the Production Office completing administrative duties.


The Ideal Candidate

You are PTS trained and experienced with depot operations including trains coming in/ going out; safety procedures; placing boards and wheel scotches. You will also have impeccable organisational skills as you support them team with booking annual leave, orders and reporting on a variety of IT systems.

 

The Requirements

A proven background in safety critical rolling stock fault finding and servicing with a PTS and minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or other engineering discipline. The ideal Rolling Stock Technician will also be able to commit to a varying shift pattern. You will also be required to pass a medical as this is physically demanding role.

 

Working Hours

Days and Nights (4 on/ 4 off)
