The Company

The Opportunity:

Working closely with the Project Manager and CRE(s), you will take full autonomy on the engineering process throughout project lifecycles on various frameworks and rail projects. As part of the Midlands leadership team, you’ll also get to exhibit your skills and undertake a key role in growing the region in the years to come, leading on bidding and delivery activities in a buoyant market. Day to day you will:

  • Brief out changes to standards to the project teams throughout the lifecycle of the project/programme of works.
  • Review project generated documentation.
  • Review the remits.
  • Develop and agree the relevant engineering processes and deliverables from the complexity and scale of projects to enabling the right solution to be provided.

Renumeration and benefits:

An impressive package is available consisting of a basic salary of £70,000 - £80,000, plus company car or car allowance (circa £6,900), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working, rivate Medical Insurance, Pension, Life insurance.

About You:

You will be a CEM with a track record of working on multi-disciplinary rail projects within a main contractor environment. Due to the ever-growing workload, you’ll be someone confident to dive right into a new position and act as a dynamic leader.  It is essential that you’re technically qualified to degree level and have experience working with Network rail contracts. You could be from the Midlands where the projects are predominantly based however, due to the agile working policies of this company, areas further out can be considered.
