Our Main Contractor Building client based in the West Yorkshire area is looking to appoint an experienced construction Buyer to join their busy team.
The company delivers in various sectors including Building Refurbishment, Commercial and Industrial New Build, Education Projects and New Build Social Housing Projects, ranging in value from £3M to £15M and above, primarily in the Yorkshire region.
The role involves the sourcing, negotiation and purchasing of both Plant and Materials to ensure all contracts are supported whilst staying inside each project budget and that all are available in the correct time frame to allow each project to remain on program. The role may also involve pre-contract costing involvement.
In addition you may be tasked with sourcing labour either through direct sub-contractors or via agency engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to help develop inside an excellent well established and well respected business and help take it to the next level above it's current £60M turnover.
