Role: Commercial Manager

Location: Glasgow (City Centre) + Remote

Salary: up to £80,000 + train travel expense

Role Description: The Commercial Manager will be working within the signalling division of a multi-billion-pound industry-leading rail business. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development of the commercial strategy, working closely with the project delivery team, in the execution of all company obligations in regard to manufacturing & services agreements. This role will act as a key client interface on the UK projects team. A key element of the role will also be identifying ways for profitability opportunities through strategic commercial management both with the customer, JV partners & supply chain partners.

Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £80,000 (depending on experience) and generous annual leave entitlement as well as a great benefits package. Required Experience: To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have experience developing and executing commercial strategies, have strong negotiation skills, a good level of understanding of contract and commercial law and a strong understanding of drafting contractual terms and conditions. On top of this, you will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate perseverance, patience, and commitment to long-term success.
