Role Description: This market-leading rail company are looking to expand their commercial team and bring in a Commercial Manager to initially oversee a multi-million-pound rail project in Staffordshire and then from 2022, oversee a £120million rail project in Cheshire. The Commercial Manager will primarily be based from the head offices in central Birmingham, however some site visits will be required. In terms of your day-to-day duties, you will be responsible for change control, change management, cost management, forecasting, budget management, risk management along side management and mentorship over the existing commercial team.
Required Experience: To be considered for this incredible Commercial Manager opportunity, you will need rail experience, ideally gained with main contractors where you have managed schemes over £10million in value. Additionally, you will need to have experience of the above duties and most importantly be a confident and dynamic individual with great communication skills.
Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £70,000 (depending on experience) + annual bonus, 26 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, 37 hour working week, up to 10% matched pension contribution + additional benefits alongside an opportunity to work and progress within an established rail business.
