Established as a leader within the Rolling Stock environment, you will be joining an organisation that prides themselves on investing in innovative and sustainable rolling stock to modernise and improve UK rail, meeting the evolving needs of today’s passengers. Having the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, you’ll work as part of a team to lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability of the trains
This role can be based in London, as well as working from home once you are comfortable of the duties within the role. You will be responsibility for managing the company’s residual value risk, portfolio renewal and growth, and new product development. Understanding in the financial models surrounding leasing of fleets, and lead lease negotiations with potential lessees / bidders and complete relevant approvals and submissions to the Board.
You will help develop and update company’s commercial strategy to pre-emptively assess re-leasing threats and opportunities to fleets, evaluation and development of new build pipeline opportunities, taking account of macro-economic analysis, market trends, market intelligence, and fleet specific risks. Engage with key customers (primarily bid teams), manufacturers and other key industry stakeholders as well as provide commercial input to internal stakeholders.
The company are offering a generous package of up to c£80,000 per annum, 10% benefit allowance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and 15% pension and bonus scheme.
This is an opportunity for an experienced Commercial / Contracts professional with knowledge of leasing / rent of fleets from either an aerospace or rolling stock background.
