My background in recruitment
I have 2 years of experience within recruitment, previously specialising in Education, where I helped source facilities-based candidates such as Groundskeepers, Cleaners and Maintenance staff.
Also spent 3 years as a Shift Manager at WHSmith, which allowed me to engage with the public and speak with members of the community from all walks of life.
I spent a year as a Trainee Network Engineer in Central London, mainly supporting investment bankers, oil brokers and also supporting charities in inner London boroughs.

My unique background in education recruitment, sales and IT infrastructure has allowed me to work with a wide range of individuals, from garage owners and builders to oil brokers. This has given me a strong understanding of each person’s needs and how best to support them.
I strongly believe in customised delivery and tailor my approach to each individual candidate or client, allowing me to understand both their brand and them on a deeper level, which ultimately increases the quality of service I provide.
I base my services entirely around the needs of both the individual and the company, taking the time to explore potential opportunities and understand the reasoning behind them. I work in a co-operative manner rather than a transactional one and do not push half-baked ideas or unsuitable candidates onto clients just to hit targets. If I cannot help, I will say so, although this is a rare occurrence.
The best part of my job
The best part of my job is by far the unpredictability. Every day presents new challenges and networking opportunities, which keeps me on my toes and constantly allows me to upskill and develop in all areas of my life.
What I do when I'm not in the office
When I am not in the office, I enjoy visiting markets, exploring new food spots and going to the gym (so I can eat more food!).
